LBV support for successful Levelling Up funding bids

In June 2021, Leicester City Council submitted its bid to the Levelling Up Fund to finance three development projects to help drive the city’s economic recovery.
These projects include the redevelopment of the former city council premises at Pilot House on King Street, the creation of new business space around Pioneer Park (next to Space Park) and the regeneration of Leicester Railway Station.
Growing support for forthcoming business festival

The Festival has always been supported by the local business community and showcases the innovative work that is happening in the region. This support helps the LBF to get the extensive reach and impact that it does.
Iain McKenzie from Mattioli Woods joins LBV board

Iain joins eight other non-executive directors on the LBV board and will help the organisation to strengthen its offer as an independent and collective voice, representing the local business community through engagements with other key local stakeholders, the public sector and regional bodies.
