Leicester’s best business Burns Night supper

1 February 2020

This year’s annual LBV Burns Night dinner on 30 January 2020 was one of our busiest ever with around 80 members and guests attending to enjoy a typically traditional celebration.

We addressed the haggis, toasted the laddies and lassies, enjoyed a wee dram (or two), were regaled with traditional tunes and tales of Robbie Burns by a Scottish Piper, and enjoyed great food and drink including the time-honoured favourite, haggis, neeps and tatties.

From all at Leicestershire Business Voice, we would like to send a big thank you for an amazing evening to the guests who joined us at the supper and to those who supported us to make the evening such a success.

From our Scottish Piper, Nigel Wilson; entertainer, James Green Swing music (aka Brendan Green); our toasters, Anjuu Trevedi, LBV Director and Professor Iain Gillespie, Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Leicester; the LBV Board Directors; Simon Gribbon from Sandstar Communications; through to the waiting and kitchen staff at Leicestershire County Cricket Club – Callum, Alan, Alex, Yan, Rosie, Nikol, Evie, Ben, Trudy, John, Sarah, Chris and Ash – we thank you all!
