Improving our connectivity by rail: the importance to the local business community

New survey created to gauge the opinions of those operating businesses within Leicester and Leicestershire.
With HS2 axed from going north of Birmingham, there is the potential for the money ‘saved’ to be cascaded to areas in the Midlands and the north of England for investment in public transport.
To help us to gauge the thoughts of the business community in Leicester and Leicestershire regarding improving our connectivity by rail, Leicestershire Business Voice (LBV), in partnership with the East Midlands branch of Railfuture – the UK’s leading independent organisation campaigning for better rail services for passengers and freight – would encourage members to respond to the ‘Improving our connectivity by rail: the importance to the local business community’ survey.
