The City and County Growth Plan – Good News for Business?

The Strategic Growth Plan is a long term high level plan that is being prepared jointly by a partnership formed by Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council, the District and Borough Councils, and the Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP).
The finalised Plan will set out an agreed strategy focussing on delivering new housing, supporting the economy, identifying essential infrastructure, protecting the environment and built heritage for the period to 2050. The Plan will have a big influence on the business landscape – this is your opportunity to help shape this Plan.
The session will be led by Nick Pulley, Chair of Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership, Chairman of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund and Regional Director for Santander Corporate Bank.
The Lunchtime Meetup will also include a presentation from Jo Tallack, General Manager for Highcross (part of Hammerson). She will speak on the investment plans of Highcross against a backdrop of a fast changing retail landscape.
Drinks and a light buffet will be provided plus the opportunity to network.
The event is free to LBV Members and their Guest. For Non-Members there will be a charge of £15 + £1.76 Eventbrite fee.
