Invitation to LBV event, hosted by Boohoo, part of Leicester Business Festival 2022

You are invited to the latest Leicestershire Business Voice (LBV) event – Celebrating the diverse manufacturing industry of Leicestershire – from 11-1pm on Thursday 10 November 2022 at Boohoo, Thurmaston Lane, Thurmaston, Leicestershire LE4 9UX.

Come and hear how others are dealing with the day-to-day issues of running a manufacturing business, focusing on innovation and productivity to generate bottom line ROI. Also, what are manufacturers looking for in their people and how do they keep them invested? The event will discuss how to develop links to improve recruiting and help bridge the skills gap.

This session will focus on manufacturing and education in Leicester and Leicestershire, where key stakeholders will discuss those driving change for the good of the manufacturing eco-system, as well as what’s ‘in it’ for business owners, their employees, and the next generation.

The panel discussions will focus on ‘the barriers for Leicester/Leicestershire to do better business’ and ‘education/skills’. They will be facilitated by Chris Hobson from East Midlands Chamber who will be joined by guest speakers from organisations including Smith Switchgears, Aristic Ltd/ATMF, De Montfort University, Fashion Enter, LLEP, English Martyrs Catholic School, Boohoo and more.
