Join us for LBV’s February event between 12-2pm on Tuesday 28 February when Rosie Smith, Agent for the Bank of England, Agency for the East Midlands will share an update on the UK economy and the financial landscape for local businesses.

As we begin 2023, the UK economy is facing unprecedented challenges. Reflecting on this, Rosie will talk about the impact of the higher cost of living and how higher energy prices and pay pressure are affecting businesses. She’ll also discuss the Bank of England’s expectations for inflation, economic growth and employment over the next few years, and what all this means for the outlook for interest rates. There will be time for you to ask questions and to share your own views and experiences.
