About LBV

Publicly funded business support is at a point of significant change.

The Government has indicated that central funding for local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) nationwide will be withdrawn at the end of March 2024. Consequently, the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) is now identifying and transitioning core functions to alternative accountable bodies.

LBV will be working closely with key local organisations in 2024 to help shape the local business support landscape and ensure that our members are informed of the latest developments and opportunities.

Read more about the latest LLEP status.

LBV has compiled a list of organisations below to help local businesses looking for support or finance options going forward. Please note this is not a definitive list but a summary of the main providers of business support.
