Annual dinner & 25th anniversary celebrations

Event details:

When: 6-11pm, Thursday 14 May 2026
Where: Charles Palmer Suite, Leicestershire County Cricket Club

You’re invited to the Leicestershire Business Voice (LBV) Annual Dinner and 25th anniversary celebration which is set to take place from 6-11pm on Thursday 14 May 2026 at the newly renovated Charles Palmer Suite at Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

This special evening marks 25 years of LBV championing the voice of business and will bring together members, board directors, former directors, ambassadors and guests for a formal business event to celebrate our achievements and look ahead to the future.

The evening will provide an opportunity to network and catch up with other LBV members, as well as enjoy a delicious three-course meal at this iconic venue.

This year, we are pleased to welcome Rob Nixon CBE, former Chief Constable of Leicestershire, as our confirmed guest speaker for the evening, who will share insights from his distinguished leadership career.

Serving as Chief Constable from March 2022 to March 2025, Rob Nixon’s work also saw him lead the force through significant transformation and change despite an incredibly challenging budget situation. Rob Nixon was recently awarded a CBE in His Majesty the King’s New Year Honours List. The honour, which is for services to policing and criminal justice, recognises Mr Nixon’s 32-year career in the force as well as the national role which he took on in 2023 as the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) lead for criminal justice.

Each fully paid member is entitled to one complimentary ticket. Additional tickets for work colleagues or guests will be available at a cost of £50 each. Non-members can purchase tickets for £60 each. A table of ten can be booked for your business at a rate of £550 for member tables and £750 for non-members. We hope that you can join us for this prominent event in the Leicester and Leicestershire business calendar. Limited places are available so secure your seat now and hold the date in your diary.
