On 29 June 2023, we invite you to join LBV, along with key stakeholders including BID Leicester and Invest in Leicester, for an engaging networking event – ‘Investing in a vibrant Leicester city centre’.

This will combine a delightful stroll around the city centre with the opportunity to connect with fellow Leicester and Leicestershire business professionals.

The event aims to promote the significant role that Leicester city centre plays for our city and county, whilst highlighting the numerous benefits that LBV members can derive from a thriving and dynamic city centre. Join us as we explore the city’s cultural and economic landmarks, and enjoy  networking at a local pub.

4-4.15pm: Welcome and introductions at Cocoa Amore

We commence the event at Cocoa Amore, where you will receive an event plan and a sample of chocolate and coffee.

4:15-5:45pm: Guided netwalking tour

Embark on an insightful netwalking tour, designed to highlight the integral role of Leicester city centre for our city and county’s development. As we explore the city, we will discover remarkable landmarks and engage in conversations that emphasise the benefits that LBV members can derive from a vibrant Leicester city centre. Key themes include:

• Promoting Leicester city centre: Learn about the pivotal role it plays in driving economic growth and fostering a thriving business environment.
• Benefits for LBV members: Explore the opportunities, resources, and support available to members within a dynamic Leicester city centre.

5:15-6.30pm: Networking and refreshments at Parcel Yard

Conclude the evening at Parcel Yard, a reputable local pub in Leicester. Enjoy some nibbles and a cash bar, along with the opportunity for networking with fellow attendees in a relaxed setting. Take this opportunity to further discuss the significance of investing in a vibrant Leicester city centre and discover ways in which LBV members can actively engage with, and benefit from it.
