LBV is surveying members for their views on the proposed Workplace Parking Levy consultation
Leicester City Council is currently consulting on a proposed workplace parking levy (WPL) for employers. The consultation ends on 13 March 2022 and LBV is canvassing members’ views now.
Based on the Nottingham scheme, the aim of the WPL is to encourage car commuters to consider other modes of transport and provide a sustained funding source to implement sustainable transport measures proposed in the draft Leicester Transport Plan.
The plan is based on public transport, cycling and walking improvements with the aim that our city will become carbon neutral by 2030.
We want to know how this will impact you, your business and your employees.
We ask you to take part in our survey here
Please be quick though with your responses as your opportunity to influence the future of our city ends soon.
