East Midlands data on Covid lending

New data from the British Business Bank shows that businesses across the East Midlands have received over £2.7bn in funding under the government’s two largest Covid-19 loan schemes, the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme and the Bounce Back Loan Scheme.

Calls for increased awareness of finance options in Leicester and Leicestershire as MEIF invests £6.5m

£20m Getting Building Fund awarded to key infrastructure projects

On 30 June, Prime Minister Boris Johnson outlined plans to “get Britain building again.” The proposals put forward form what he termed a “new deal” for the UK economy, with infrastructure projects at its centre and a national budget of £900 million
