Midlands Engine Investment Fund and British Business Bank

25 September 2018

British Business Bank and ICAEW are hosting a Midlands Engine Investment Fund breakfast event at Radisson Blu, East Midlands Airport on 5 October 2018.

Join ICAEW members and SMEs at a breakfast designed to get small and medium sized business owners and directors in a room with funders. The funders will be representing the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) set up by the UK Government through the British Business Bank (BBB).

The forum is ideal for SMEs looking at funding options, accountants advising their clients on business plans, and those looking into new customer areas, for a background on the funding available and what Fund Managers are looking for to ensure a successful application.

Each of the MEIF Fund Managers will give a short synopsis on their respective funds, covering both debt and equity funding, and will include a discussion with a successful case study speaking on their experiences and challenges whilst going through the investment process.

To close the breakfast we will have a round table discussion session where delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions (both ways) with the Fund Managers about what challenges they have personally experienced.

The event is free of charge and open to members and non-members, taking place in both the East and West Midlands, so please feel free to attend the event location/date which is most suitable to you.
