Leicestershire Business Voice to host ‘Business Resilience and the Year Ahead’ event
19 January 2026
Leicestershire Business Voice (LBV) is hosting a ‘Business Resilience and the Year Ahead’ event from 5.30-8pm on Monday 26 January 2026 at the Burleigh Court Hotel and Conference Centre in Loughborough.
As LBV marks its 25th year, this evening will bring together senior business leaders, LBV members and guests to discuss how organisations can navigate ongoing economic uncertainty and build resilience for the future.
The event will feature a panel discussion and interactive Q&A with leading voices from the academic and financial sectors, including:
- Steve Grubb, Director Commercial Banking, Leicestershire, Rutland & Northamptonshire at NatWest
- Professor Eric Pentecost, Professor of Economics, Loughborough University
Topics will focus on what current global economic signals mean for UK and regional businesses, how risks such as financial contagion travel through markets into the real economy, and what leaders should be stress-testing as the next business cycle unfolds.
Registration for the event is available via the Eventbrite link. For more information or enquiries, please contact [email protected].
Sue Tilley, Chair of LBV, commented: “This event captures the very essence of LBV’s mission – to support and strengthen the regional business voice through meaningful insight, trusted connections and shared perspective as we collectively face the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
Scott Knight, Regional Engagement Manager (Research & Innovation), Loughborough University added: “We are pleased to be partnered with LBV for the first event of the 25th year and look forward to an evening of stimulating conversations with LBV members – those longstanding, those newer and those soon to be.”
Tara Tattersall, Business Development Manager at Imago Venues, shared: “We’re delighted to partner with LBV and host this fantastic event. At Imago Venues, we keep things easy and personalised, serving every guest with care and kindness. Burleigh Court is ready to bring the A‑game to LBV’s away game and create a place people love to be. Rest assured.”
