Leicestershire Business Voice reaches milestone of 50 members for LBV 100 campaign in quick time!

26 February 2025

Leicestershire Business Voice (LBV), the premier business advocacy group for Leicester and Leicestershire, is celebrating a major milestone in its recently launched ‘LBV 100 Club’ campaign, having already reached the initial landmark of 50 companies signing up.

The businesses represent a diverse mix of organisations from various sectors, all committed to shaping the economic future of Leicestershire. Since launching the exclusive LBV 100 initiative, the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

The LBV 100 is designed to provide a platform for Leicestershire’s most forward-thinking businesses, offering exclusive networking opportunities, policy influence, and access to high-level discussions that shape the region’s economic direction. LBV ensures that the interests of local businesses are represented in key decision-making processes and works closely with policymakers, local authorities, and industry leaders to drive economic growth.

Businesses interested in joining Leicestershire Business Voice are encouraged to engage with existing members, visit www.lbv.co.uk/membership/ or contact [email protected] for more information on the selection process.

Three of the latest members to join the LBV 100 Club are Knights – a legal and professional services business, Edwards & Edwards Consultancy – a family run civil engineering consultancy, specialising in highways, transportation and planning, and Business Engine Room, which delivers financial solutions including a virtual finance director, business coaching, cloud-based accounting, and year-end accounts and tax.

Tom Beech, Business Development Executive at Knights said: “We wanted to join LBV to not only support our growth in Leicester following our move to Colton Square but to also support the growth of the Leicester business community that we are proud to be a part of. LBV is a fantastic platform to do this together and we are looking forward to forming new relationships as well as strengthen existing ones in the community.”

Neal Edwards, Managing Director at Edwards & Edwards Consultancy Ltd said: “Joining LBV was a chance to join a local business forum and become part of a larger group dedicated to improving the business environment in Leicester.”

Alice Davidchack, Managing Director of Business Engine Room commented: “As a start-up accounting firm, now in our 12th year of business in Leicestershire, we have been listening to the stories of our clients, as well as their suppliers and customers, for over a decade. These stories, along with our own, combine to form a narrative of what makes good business. Having attended two LBV events and met with a number of members, we feel excited to join the like-minded businesses and, together, contribute to strategic and collaborative future for Leicestershire.”

Commenting on the success, Robin Pointon, Chair of Leicestershire Business Voice, added: “Since launching, we have seen an immediate response, with various companies joining and wishing to be part of the new LBV 100. Joining the group, which brings many benefits, is by invitation only, but we would urge organisations to apply via our website. We have agreed as a board that once we get to 100 businesses, we will then close the door to any further applications for 2025 and create a waiting list.”
