LBV supports #TogetherInHope campaign
28 July 2020
Leicestershire Business Voice is proud to support a new initiative aimed at highlighting how the people of Leicester have come together and supported each other during the pandemic
The Together In Hope project is led by the Bishop of Leicester, the University of Leicester’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Nishan Canagarajah, and the CEO of Leicester City Football club Susan Whelan.
The partnership celebrates the community spirit in Leicester and Leicestershire, and is supported by a raft of public figures including Gary Lineker, Jonathan Agnew and Maggie Philbin.
Jane Cowley, Chair of LBV said: “The board and members of Leicestershire Business Voice are passionate advocates for the business community in Leicester. We’re proud to support the Together In Hope campaign that celebrates the city’s spirit, particularly in these challenging times during the extended lockdown.
“We’ve recently hosted webinars for members and the wider local business community, talking about ways in which the city’s businesses can innovate and adapt to new business practices, and the support available to help them through these trying times. We look forward to seeing how Leicester’s business community recovers and begins to prosper once again!”
