Help to Grow: Management

23 March 2026

If you are a manager, senior leader or owner in an organisation with 5-249 employees looking to enhance your leadership skills and develop your business then this fully-funded programme is for you. The government-funded Help to Grow: Management course provides professional learning focussed on practical outcomes enabling you to work on your business rather than in your business.

Provided by Small Business Charter-accredited Business Schools, the 12-week course starts on 20 April 2026 and is delivered flexibly online with 4 in-person workshops at the University of Leicester School of Business. The course is 90% government-funded and 10% funded through a bursary from the School of Business, making it fully-funded, and involves a time commitment of 4-5 hours a week.

Benefit from the latest models, tools and research across key topics including strategy and innovation, effective operations, winning new markets, employee engagement, building vision and brand, digital transformation and financial management. Identify and focus on the specific needs of your business through small group peer learning sessions and 10 hours of 1:1 mentoring leading to creation of a tailored growth action plan to lead your business to its full potential. Please find key course details at: www.le.ac.uk/helptogrow
