Celebrate Leicester’s entrepreneurial spirit at LBV’s first ‘Savouries and Stories’ event — where local business journeys meet good company and great food.

LBV’s ‘Savouries and Stories’ event is an after-work social event for members and guests. At the popular Chutney Ivy restaurant in Leicester’s St George’s Cultural Quarter, we’ll be hearing about the successes and challenges of business life from local entrepreneurs, over Indian savouries and drinks.

Speakers confirmed include:

• Charlotte Harris, CEO of Freedom from Sugar Addiction Ltd – From homelessness to healing – a story of overcoming adversity and helping others
• Angela Orton, Managing Director of Structural Adhesives Ltd
• Nick Megson, Managing Director of Abacus Flooring Solutions
• Tom Willday, Founder of Willsow Ltd

We’re inviting all LBV members to join us for this new event on the annual calendar. If you are interested in telling your story on the night, please contact LBV board director, Robin Pointon at [email protected] with a short biography of your business journey.

We will endeavour to feature as many volunteers as we can on the night, but would also like to include these stories on the LBV website and share on social media, if appropriate.

The event is free to LBV members and £20 (plus Eventbrite fee) for non-members.
