Making the Right Connections

Event details:

When: FRIDAY 24th NOVEMBER 2017, 12 noon - 2pm
Where: CURVE, Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1SB

East Midlands Trains

Transport and connectivity are key to business success and the attracting of new investors. Leicester has many strengths with its central UK location, offering close proximity to strategic links across the UK. It also, like many cities across, faces the mobility challenges of a growing population, in a dense urban area.

The Leicestershire Business Voice (LBV) Lunchtime Meet-up will provide opportunity to listen, debate and learn on how we can maximise and improve our connectivity. You will hear from leading transport experts, Andrew Pritchard (East Midlands Councils) and Stuart Maxwell (Leicester City Council), on what they see as the barriers and opportunities surrounding transport at the regional and local level.

The forum includes a business panel where local managers will be providing their first-hand experience of the transport system, where they see improvements could be made and the part they believe their business can play.

The event on Friday 24th November starts at 12pm and will finish by 2pm. Curve is our venue with light lunch provided. There will be a cash bar available.
