In partnership with Loughborough University, the LBV October event provides an opportunity for LBV members and business leaders to pick up insights on some of latest AI trends and developments, strategies for implementation of AI in business, cyber safety and ways to future proof operations.

Advancements and developments in AI (Artificial intelligence) seem to be moving at ‘lighting speed’ (for those working outside the computing/IT field).  Understanding what AI is and keeping up to date on the latest developments, (especially around cyber threats and compliance) and what might be useful for businesses to implement, continues to be challenging.

Attendees will learn about strategies for implementing AI in their businesses with a focus on cyber safety and future-proofing their operations. Join us for an informative and engaging event, in collaboration with Loughborough University, over a light lunch and stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of AI.

Joining the event as a speaker is Tim El-Sheikh, CEO of Nebuli. Dr Ayo Akinduko, who is a Lead Scientist Nebuli, also joins the event as a speaker. He has over 16 years’ experience of working in large corporate commercial organisations, academic research and directly with small and medium enterprises to help them with their data strategy and utilise AI, helping organisations unlock the value of their data assets.

CEO of METCLOUD, Ian Vickers, will also be speaking at the event. METCLOUD is shaping the future of the new digital economy and new value creation. As the Chief Executive Officer of this multi award winning cloud and cybersecurity platform, Ian leads the company’s vision, strategy, and growth, delivering large capital technology projects across various sectors. Core competencies include new business development, customer relationship management, and strategy. He is passionate about accelerating the adoption of next generation technologies such as AI/ML, blockchain, and data analytics, which enable exponential growth and greater positive impact on the environment, sustainability, and society.
