Cricket boss moves on

Wasim Khan to leave the county in February 2019

It was announced last week that Leicestershire County Cricket Club Chief Executive, Wasim Khan will leave the county in February 2019 to become Managing Director of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Wasim has been a strong supporter of LBV throughout his four years in Leicestershire and spoke at our inaugural Members Dinner in May 2017. He’s made a real difference in his relatively short time at the Club and will be greatly missed locally, but we wish him our very best for a successful move to his new national cricket role in Pakistan.

For more details on Wasim’s move, visit the BBC Sport website.
