The Sturgess Motor Group has a long established history as a leading car dealer in Leicestershire, and is one of the most respected names in UK motor retailing. Chairman Mr Chris Sturgess is the 4th generation member of the family business, which was established in 1897.

Mark and the LBV board are responsible for offering an independent and collective voice to represent the local business community through engagements with other key local stakeholders, the public sector and regional bodies. It also provides members with a regular programme of stimulating business-themed webinars, events and debates.

Bav Patani is Head of Client Development for Gallagher. Bav joined Gallagher in 2015 via the company’s acquisition of Leicester-based broking firm Oval Insurance. In his role as Head of Client Development, Bav works with a range of clients working in industries including construction, finance and printing. Gallagher helps to protect businesses and individuals from the risks associated with their activities.
